Doku End User License Agreement

Effective date: August 12, 2026 · Version: 2026-08-12

This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is between you and Kuma Stories Ltd. and governs the Doku application obtained through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another authorized channel. The Terms of Service govern Doku’s hosted services, AI features, and community, and apply where relevant. The Privacy Notice explains data processing. If a platform addendum conflicts with the common terms solely for use on that platform, the platform addendum controls.

1. License Grant

Subject to this EULA and the Terms, Kuma Stories Ltd. grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use one authorized copy of Doku on compatible devices you own or control, subject to applicable app-store usage rules and permitted family or organizational sharing.

2. License Restrictions and Updates

Except where law or an applicable open-source license permits, you may not copy, distribute, rent, lease, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, derive source code from, modify, bypass security or rights controls, interfere with, or create derivative works of the application. You may not use Doku to violate law, rights, app-store rules, or the Terms.

Doku may provide updates, patches, or replacement versions. Some updates may be required for security, compatibility, or continued service access. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their applicable licenses, which control if they grant rights inconsistent with this restriction.

3. Services, User Content, AI, and Privacy

The application provides access to hosted streaming, AI-assisted creation, profiles, and community features. Your use of those services, Inputs, Outputs, published content, reporting, and moderation is governed by the Terms. Data processing is described in the Privacy Notice. This EULA does not create a broader content license, model-training permission, moderation service level, or privacy consent beyond those documents.

Third-party services—including app stores, sign-in providers, AI or model providers, analytics, attribution, playback, and sharing services—may have separate terms and privacy practices. You must comply with applicable third-party terms.

4. Support, Warranty, and Claims

Kuma Stories Ltd., not the app-store operator, is responsible for Doku support and claims except where the applicable platform terms expressly provide otherwise. To the extent permitted by law, the application is provided “as is” and “as available,” subject to non-waivable consumer rights. The disclaimers and liability provisions in the Terms apply to the hosted Service. Platform-specific warranty and refund statements appear below.

5. Termination

This license ends if you materially breach the EULA or Terms, or when your access is lawfully terminated. On termination, stop using and delete the application, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be limited. Deleting the app alone does not delete an account or associated data; use the paths described at Account and Data Deletion.

Acknowledgement

This EULA is between you and Kuma Stories Ltd., not Apple Inc. (“Apple”). Kuma Stories Ltd., not Apple, is solely responsible for Doku and its content. This EULA may not conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Scope

For an Apple-distributed copy, the license is a non-transferable license to use Doku on Apple-branded products you own or control as permitted by the Usage Rules, including permitted Family Sharing or volume purchasing.

Maintenance and support

Kuma Stories Ltd. is solely responsible for required support; Apple has no obligation to provide support.

Warranty

Kuma Stories Ltd. is responsible for warranties not effectively disclaimed. If Doku fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, under Apple’s rules. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation; Kuma Stories Ltd. remains responsible for other claims, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses attributable to a warranty failure.

Product claims and intellectual property

Kuma Stories Ltd., not Apple, is responsible for product-liability, legal or regulatory, consumer-protection, privacy, and third-party intellectual-property claims relating to Doku.

Legal compliance

You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as supporting terrorism, and that you are not listed on a U.S. Government prohibited or restricted party list.

Third-party terms

You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using Doku.

Third-party beneficiary

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce it against you upon acceptance.

7. Google Play Addendum

For a copy obtained through Google Play, Google is not a party to this EULA and does not own or operate Doku. Kuma Stories Ltd., not Google, is responsible for Doku, its hosted services, support, content, privacy, and claims, except for obligations Google expressly assumes under the Google Play Terms. Your use of Google Play and the downloaded application is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service and applicable Google Play usage rules.

Any refund or store transaction handled by Google is governed by Google Play’s applicable terms and policies. As of this EULA’s effective date, Doku does not provide an in-app purchase or subscription flow. If that changes, the applicable terms, notices, and store disclosures will be updated.
