Delete in the app
Open Profile → Settings → Delete Account and follow the confirmation flow. Removing Doku from your device does not delete your account or submit a deletion request.
Request deletion without the app
If you no longer have access to Doku, email us from the address associated with your account when possible. You do not need to reinstall Doku.

Email deletion requestGuest sessions
Reset Guest Data clears local guest state and starts a new guest session. It does not by itself delete records previously associated with the old guest session from Doku’s servers.
For a guest-data request, email root@kumadrama.com. Include a guest identifier only if Doku provides a safe way to view it. Do not send authentication tokens or credentials. We will explain the available verification and deletion path for data we can safely associate with your request.
What deletion covers
After reasonable verification, Doku deletes or irreversibly de-identifies data associated with the account that is not legally required to be retained, including:
- Doku profile and authentication linkage, including the associated Firebase authentication identity.
- Email, name, avatar object, handle, tagline, device tokens, and push tokens.
- Viewing and search history, progress, favorites, votes, follows, blocks, and notification records.
- Comments, published ideas, and other public user-generated content.
- AI conversations, prompts, generation-job records, and stored personal generation assets.
- App preferences associated with the account.
Doku also sends deletion or expiry instructions to processors where required by contract and technically supported. Removing direct identifiers while retaining data that can still reasonably be linked back to you is not treated as irreversible de-identification.
Limited retention
Doku may retain only records necessary for a documented legal obligation, fraud or security investigation, dispute, or enforcement record. Retained records are access-restricted and are not used for personalization or marketing. Aggregated statistics may remain only if they cannot reasonably be linked back to you. Public user-generated content is deleted with the account unless a specific legal or safety reason requires limited preservation; where possible, preserved material is de-identified.
Residual copies in rolling backups expire under the applicable backup schedule.
Processing time
Doku will acknowledge a verified request and begin restricting access promptly. Active application records may be deleted or irreversibly de-identified before deletion completes across authentication systems, object storage, processors, logs, and rolling backups. We target completion within 30 days unless applicable law or a disclosed legal or safety exception requires longer.
Once irreversible deletion has begun, restoration may not be possible. Email requests begin after reasonable account-owner verification. Doku will notify the requester when the request is completed or if a legal exception applies.
What to include
- Your Doku account email.
- Your sign-in method, such as email, Google, Apple, or Facebook.
- A clear request to delete the account and associated data.
Do not send a password, authentication token, payment information, or government identity document by ordinary email. Doku may provide a secure verification step.
